Federal University Dutse PUTME
Introduction
The Federal University Dutse (FUD) Post UTME (PUTME) is a compulsory screening exercise for all candidates who have chosen FUD as their institution of first choice and have scored 160 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The purpose of the PUTME is to assess the candidates’ suitability for admission into FUD’s undergraduate programs.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the FUD PUTME, candidates must have:
- Scored 160 and above in the UTME
- Chosen FUD as their institution of first choice
- Met the specific subject requirements for their chosen program of study
Registration
Registration for the FUD PUTME is usually done online. Candidates will need to create an account on the university’s website and then fill out the online registration form. The registration fee is usually around N2,500.
Examination Format
The FUD PUTME is a computer-based test (CBT) that is divided into two sections:
- Section 1: General Paper (40 questions)
- Section 2: Subject Combinations (60 questions)
The General Paper section tests candidates’ knowledge of English Language, Mathematics, and Current Affairs. The Subject Combinations section tests candidates’ knowledge of the specific subjects they chose in the UTME.
Scoring
The FUD PUTME is scored on a scale of 0 to 400. The minimum score for admission into FUD is usually 200.
